Mt Pelerin Group Ltd has its registered office in Neuchâtel and the company number CHE-188.552.084, as its terms and conditions state with a link to the Zefix register entry. The same terms say Mt Pelerin is affiliated to SO-FIT as a financial intermediary under the Anti-Money Laundering Act. FINMA recognises SO-FIT as a self-regulatory organisation; membership covers anti-money-laundering duties and does not amount to a bank licence.

You keep custody. The terms state that Mt Pelerin "does not hold the crypto assets of the User" and has no access to the keys of its Bridge Wallet app, which you restore from your own seed phrase. You can also send purchases to any other wallet.

The pricing page, read on 4 October 2026, lists Swiss bank transfer (SIC) and euro SEPA transfer as free, plus card, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Under that page, the first CHF 500 you buy by bank transfer each calendar year is free; after that you pay 1.3% up to CHF 5,000 a year, 1.1% up to CHF 50,000 and 0.9% up to CHF 1,000,000. The same page prices card buys at 2.5% for the first CHF 500 a year and 3.8% from CHF 501 to 5,000, with a CHF 1.20 minimum fee and a CHF 5,000 cap per card transaction. Mt Pelerin delivers to a bitcoin or a Lightning address for free under that page.

For tax, coins in Bridge Wallet are yours to declare at year-end value in the wealth tax section of your return; the Swiss Bitcoin tax guide covers it.

Who it is for

Swiss residents who buy a few times a year and stay under CHF 500 a year, the free allowance set on the pricing page as of 4 October 2026.

It also fits you if you want Lightning delivery from the first buy or prefer a free SIC transfer from any Swiss bank. If you are new to keeping your own keys, read the self-custody guide before you write down the seed.

Who it is not for

Monthly savers with a fixed plan. Beyond the free allowance the bank-transfer fee of 1.3% on the pricing page, read on 4 October 2026, sits between the 1.0% in Relai's pricing policy and the 1.5% in Pocket's fees FAQ, both read the same day, and the Mt Pelerin pricing page refills the free allowance only on 1 January. Compare the routes in the buying guide and the dollar-cost averaging guide.

Card buyers above the first CHF 500 a year. At 3.8% from CHF 501 under the same pricing page, a card is the expensive way in.

Anyone in a hurry on a weekend. The terms set business hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm Swiss time, for executing transactions, so a bank transfer you send on Friday evening waits for Monday.
