1. Who we are

These terms apply to www.btc2h.com ("the site"), the home of the book Bitcoin Zero to Hero.

2. Acceptance

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

3. Educational content only — no advice

Everything on this site — the book, the blog, the glossary, the tax pages, and the calculators — is educational information. It is not, and must not be treated as:

• financial or investment advice.

No advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship of any kind is created by reading the site, downloading the book, buying a printed copy, or subscribing to emails. Decisions about your money, your taxes, and your Bitcoin remain yours. 4. Content provided as-is

Content is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We verify figures against primary official sources and record the review date on the pages concerned, but tax rates, laws, and the Bitcoin ecosystem change. Any figure can become outdated at any time. Verify every figure against the official source before acting on it.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, BiCatalyst GmbH and its founder are not liable for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its content — including decisions made, filings submitted, or transactions executed in reliance on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for unlawful intent or gross negligence (art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations) or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6. Calculators and estimates

The wealth-tax estimator and similar tools produce estimates from published tariffs and simplified assumptions. They ignore parts of your personal situation by design. An estimate is not a filing figure.

7. Purchases

Printed copies are sold via Stripe checkout and produced on demand by Lulu. Prices, shipping destinations, delivery estimates, and the handling of damaged copies are described on the order page at the time of purchase. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Intellectual property

The book and site content are © BiCatalyst GmbH. The online book is free to read and its PDF is free to download for personal use. This does not transfer ownership or grant a right to republish, resell, or redistribute the content unless expressly stated for a specific item.

9. External links

The site links to external sources — official portals (ESTV, cantonal tax authorities), documentation, and third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland, subject to mandatory statutory venues.

12. Severability

If a provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
