Who writes this site
Mohamed Habbat, the author of this site, writes and reviews every chapter and article, and is responsible for everything published here, in every language.
How claims are verified
Every number, price, date or count links to its source in the same sentence. It is checked on the day of writing.
Sources are primary or official: the Bitcoin whitepaper and source code, BIPs, release notes, block explorers, tax offices and statutes. A video or a forum thread is never a source.
Law is quoted from the official legislation portals, such as fedlex for federal law, never from memory or a law firm summary.
A claim that cannot be traced to such a source is not published.
How mistakes are corrected
When a false statement is found, it is corrected or removed in the same change that finds it. There is no grace period.
Every page exists in up to four languages. When one language is corrected, the other languages are updated in the same change, or flagged as out of date until they are.
