Swiss angle
Blockpit is Austrian, with a Swiss past. The About Blockpit page, read on 4 October 2026, says the company started in Linz in 2017, became an Austrian stock corporation in 2021, and took over its Swiss competitor Accointing in 2023. The terms page names the operator as Blockpit AG. Its imprint did not load when we checked, so this page gives no street address.
Blockpit reads your exchange and wallet data and turns it into reports. It holds no coins and moves no money, so it is not a financial service.
The Swiss version of the site sits under /de-ch and is in German. The Swiss tax guide, dated 22 September 2026, says Blockpit values your coins on 31 December at the rate in the ESTV price list, or at a platform price when the list has none. The ESTV ICTax price list publishes that same value, and the wealth tax asks for it. The same guide shows a report section called "Ausfüllhilfe für das Wertschriften- und Guthabenverzeichnis", a fill-in aid for the securities and credit balances list on your return.
The Swiss page prices everything in euros. The Swiss price page, read on 4 October 2026, sells each tax year as a one-off purchase, from EUR 49 for up to 50 transactions to EUR 549 above 10,000, and showed no CHF price. The fact box lists every tier.
Who it is for
People with coins spread over several exchanges and wallets, who would otherwise build the year-end list by hand. The About Blockpit page claims more than 700 exchange and wallet integrations.
German-speaking filers who want the output to follow the Swiss form. The fill-in aid in the Swiss tax guide maps your holdings to the securities list, where a foreign tool would hand you a capital gains form.
Former Accointing users, since Blockpit now owns that product. If you are unsure where to start, book the free 15-minute first call listed on the Swiss price page.
Who it is not for
Holders with one self-custody wallet and no trading. Your wealth tax line is your balance times the ESTV value, and the Swiss Bitcoin tax guide shows how to work it out for free.
Buyers who want to pay in francs. With euro prices on the Swiss price page, your card statement shows a currency conversion.
Anyone who expects the software to decide whether they trade professionally. The Swiss tax guide lists the criteria but says the answer needs an overall assessment, and your cantonal tax office makes that call. Read how to declare bitcoin on your Swiss tax return before you file.
