Einundzwanzig Basel is one local group in a German-speaking network. The Bitcoin Basel website, read on 4 October 2026, describes it in German as the decentralised, bitcoin-only community in Basel and the Dreiländereck, the area where Switzerland, Germany and France meet, and says its meetups are part of the Einundzwanzig meetups.
The network behind the name is Swiss. The Einundzwanzig privacy policy names Verein Einundzwanzig, 6300 Zug, Switzerland, as the responsible party, and the Einundzwanzig meetup list described itself on 4 October 2026 as a list of 314 Bitcoin meetups and Einundzwanzig gatherings in the region it abbreviates as D/A/CH/S/LI/LU. The Basel group prints no company, address or register entry of its own. Nobody at the meetup holds your coins, so this is not a financial service.
The group announces its dates in one place. The Bitcoin Basel website says the next meetup is announced in the Telegram group, and that taking part in and shaping the meetups is organised through that channel. On 4 October 2026 the Einundzwanzig portal entry for Basel showed no upcoming dates.
